Hartley Botanic Tradition 8 greenhouses & glasshouses are built in the traditional style most people think of when the word ‘greenhouse’ is mentioned. With a gabled roof and side-sliding entrance door, this model is for the earnestly committed gardener who enjoys a lifestyle that has been in favour for generations.

This traditional greenhouse is manufactured from modern materials, and performs excellently, as you would expect from a Hartley greenhouse. Rubber seals around each individual pane of glass keeps the elements out and means, even in the windiest of conditions, there should be virtually no vibration. The glazed elements themselves are fabricated from 4mm toughened safety glass, further protecting these greenhouses & glasshouses from any mishaps due to the weather outside.

Guttering along the length of the greenhouse allows rain water to soak away in the ground or into a water butt. The sides, with panes each of almost 30″ in width, provide an expanse of unobstructed glazing to capitalise on the sunlight received throughout the year, while the metalwork throughout is minimalist in nature to avoid casting unwanted shadows into the interior.

Tradition 8 greenhouses & glasshouses really are the ideal solution for traditionalists who do not want to miss out on the performance of modern materials and techniques – and, at almost eight feet in height, eight feet in width, and a length to suit, they provide plenty of growing space for your projects, whatever you choose to plant.
